RESIST is a narrative driven, cross disciplinary album that explores themes of unity, resistance and human connection. The themes began with ideas I had been carrying for some time, and grew as I brought together writers, vocalists and instrumentalists in a collaborative production.
The album has developed through the stories of the artists who helped me create its sonic world, including Zinnie Harris, Hannah Khalil, J. L. Williams, Natalie Arle Toyne, Çiğdem Kaplangı, Erdem Avşar, Özgür Ercan and Toussaint the Liberator, with performances from Louis Barabbas, Stephanie MacGaraidh, Kirsty Findlay, Dunja Botic, Naomi Stirrat, David John Hogg, SIRMA, Annie Grace, Serkan Çeliköz, Cem Özkan and Ertan Tekin.
RESIST listens closely to the human stories behind struggle, connection and survival.

RESIST grew from a need to speak to the moment, not just in my own voice, but by bringing many stories together. Each collaborator carried a different truth, a different way of resisting, and the album became a place where those voices could rise side by side. In shaping the ground beneath them, I tried to create a diverse sonic world where honesty, struggle and hope could live together.
